About Osa Jungle Tours

My name is Elyer Jimenez and I am an Eco Tour Guide here in the Osa peninsula of Costa Rica. I’ve had the good fortune of transforming my passion for nature and helping people discover the treasures we have in the Osa into a successful career. I’m also incredibly privileged to have guided clients from all over the world on tours throughout this tropical paradise I call home. I was born in Piro beach and grew up in the jungle on the hills of Matapalo. I learned about all of the animals and nature around me first hand from the time I was a little child. My extensive knowledge and experience of this area gives me an advantage allowing me to show a different side of the jungle to my clients, and to help them gain a better and deeper understanding of the sites and destinations we visit. Pricing for the 4 hour Jungle Tour:

  • 1 person = 75 Mil Colones ($170 USD)

  • 2 people = 125 Mil Colones ($280 USD)

  • 3 people = 200 Mil Colones ($355 USD)

  • 4 people = 350 Mil Colones ($430 USD)

Please Note: Prices may change based on daily currency exchange rates. Booking prices are honored and held at the price at time of purchase. Pricing adjustments can not be given once booking is complete. 
Booking Policies: To cancel or reschedule, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the tour will receive a full refund. No-shows are non-refundable.

  • A 2 hour Chocolate Tour only 25 minutes from Puerto Jimenez, $45 per person

  • A Beach Horse Back Riding Tour, $65 per person

OUTSTANDING!!!!
Our family has traveled extensively and explored many areas with guides, but Elyer is a cut above.
You WILL see birds and monkeys, and a variety of things, but it is His ability to set up a spectacular viewing system where it seems like the animal is right in front of you.
Another thing we appreciated was his ability and willingness to tailor what we wanted to do and see. Elyer was kind enough to extend our tour by over two hours for which we gave him a tip, but for which he did not actually ask for additional funds. He is a really special guy, and all regards, including taking us to a special place for a close-up view of a macaw’s nesting site. In addition to his knowledge and respect of Wildlife, Elyer grew up in the jungle nearby, which made it extra special.  You won’t be disappointed.
